You’ll see rock art on the canyon walls, evidence of prehistoric and historic human activity. Witness the Fremont and Ute pictographs and petroglyphs, as well as abandoned ranches and homes. But perhaps the most exciting for the little explorers is the rich dinosaur history of the Green River. Yes, dinosaurs roamed these banks and you can walk in their footsteps. Take a stop down the river and hike to Dinosaur Monument Park and witness these prehistoric birds and mammals preserved in the rocks.
