Happy EARTH DAY! Rocky Mountain National Park Celebration this Weekend
Come and join your fellow Coloradans in celebrating Earth Day 2015 this weekend in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Not only is it a great opportunity to learn about conservation, protection and preservation of our shared environment, but it also happens to be the parks 100th birthday. It’s going to be a day of earth loving fun and festivities, with a little awareness and education thrown in as well. Also, it’s FREE.
Free Earth Day celebration at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado
The day begins at 10am on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center Auditorium and is filled with earth friendly and informative activities all day long. There will be arts and craft stations to science experts and park staff ready to share their knowledge of a number of Earth Day topics. It’s going to be a fun day for both kids and adult. It’s never too soon to start teaching your kids about reducing their carbon footprint and helping to preserve our planet. Your great, great, great, great grandchildren will thank you for it.
Join the Biodiversity Olympics, designed to get the whole family active and moving. There will also be group trash pick-ups – because being an environmentalist means you sometimes (a lot of the time) have to get your hands dirty. But as you are picking up trash, don’t forget to look around and appreciate the nature, landscapes, wildlife and breathtaking views all around you.
Outdoor Colorado river rafting expeditions
If you love the earth as much as the Dvorak family, then come spend a thrilling summer vacation on one of the many rivers of the Southwestern United States. We can custom design a multi-sport adventure to fit the whole family, and with Dvorak you’ll be sure that we do everything we can to make out trips environmentally friendly. We understand that we are just visitors here on the river, and do our best to protect and preserve the natural wildlife and natural habitats surrounding the rivers on all of our expeditions and specialty trips. We want to preserve this great earth for generations to come, so we can continue floating, rafting, kayaking, paddling, screaming and laughing down the river. Call today to book the white water expedition of a lifetime.
